Every small business owner knows exactly what I'm talking about.
The high when things are running smoothly, followed by the low created by self-doubt. If you are a new small business owner, I'm sure you are experiencing this for yourself. Don't worry, there are ways to tackle it! And yes, survive it.
When your business is running the way it should, the way you planned, the way you want it to, you are focused on keeping things that way. Like everything else in life, small businesses work in cycles. There's ALWAYS a down time, a crash after a busy season, when we are exhausted and drained. The trick is to take care of yourself.
It is during these slower times when it's important to focus on you! Spend a day, doing NOTHING! Read that book you've wanted to read, have coffee with friends, get together with family, or simply sleep for an extra few hours. This is necessary for your well-being and it will help you stay positive about where you and your business are headed next.
There will be another busy season and you need to be prepared for it.
