Who We Are...

Amy Gilpin is the owner of AG Small Business Services. She received her diploma in Office Administration in 1995, and her Bookkeeping diploma in 2010. Born in Lanark County, she left the area for a few years and lived in Brockville, Ontario, where she quickly determined that rural life was much more fitting for her. After returning to Lanark County, she married and moved to Plevna, Ontario, where she has lived with her family for the past fifteen years. Amy brings twenty-five years experience to the company, from various areas of business operation in several industries. When she isn't busy in the dynamic world of small business, she enjoys painting, reading and being outdoors spending time with her family.

Lisa Laforet is our Client Services Manager. She received her bookkeeping diploma in 2012 after many years as a caregiver. Born and raised in Lanark County, she moved to Chalk River for a short time but is back and ready to assist and support local businesses. Lisa comes to AG Small Business Services with over five years' experience in bookkeeping and income tax preparation. When she isn't working, Lisa enjoys doing puzzles, cross-stitch, and most of all spending time with her granddaughter.
